- Length - For total length measurement, shorts should be measured from the top of the waistband to the bottom of the hem.
- For measuring the waist, spread the shorts flat on the surface, and remove any fullness and wrinkles from it. Lastly, measure from one side to the other and multiply by two.
- Measure the hip width at the widest point (starting 7 inches below the top of the waistband) from one side to the other. This is a flat measurement so only needs to be taken on the front side of the shorts.
